... it's an electronic / indie rock music duo from Paris, France, formed by Axel Basquiat & Vicent Tremel. They're currently touring in Asia, came to hk this month for many live shows and a photo exhibition by Danakil at sport b shops. This talented french film director / photographer / contemporary artist took a series of photo during the filming of a music video for Damien (a song by tHE pEneLOpe[s] ) which formed the contents of this exhibition.

tHE pEneLOpe[s] gained their fame by their intense live performances & unique music style which according to what they said to me (a pink CAT Idea

) is a mixture of electronic, indie rock ... etc (hear the sound clip below). They have caused a storm in Paris art & music circles ...and many celebrities talents including author Regis Clinquart, designer Agnes b are among their biggest fans...

" 潘妮洛普茲 " ( 哈，這是他們的台灣譯名 )，一隊來自法國巴黎的二人電子組合，由Axel Basquiat及Vicent Tremel組成﹝一個來自法國，一個來自芬蘭，分別是醫學及法律的高材生﹞。他們的風格獨特，結合電子及搖滾等多方面的原素﹝聽聽下面他們怎樣形容自己啦 ...﹞

tHE pEneLOpe[s] 約三年前成立之後，不停地公開演出。他們的表演散發出一種舞台劇化，叫人著迷的吸引力，亦震動了整個巴黎的文化圈。很多名人也成了他們的超級歌迷，包括作家Regis Clinquart及時裝設計師Agnes b 等等。

他們正在亞洲巡迥演出。今個月Axel及Vicent來了香港，連串的演出之外，亦為了一個在SPORT b店舉行的法國導演 / 攝影師 / 藝術家Danakil的相片展，舉行了一個小型的dj騷。Danakil幫 tHE pEneLOpe[s] 的單曲"Demian"拍攝音樂錄像時，也拍了一些相片，便是今次展覽的展品。
